Building a period correct bike on an S&S Cycle KN93 presents a unique
challenge—because there were no real custom parts back then. Billy took n the
challenge by doing some tasteful modifications and tricks to a pretty solid replica
chassis. Working from components that mimicked the originals, he cut, welded, shaped
and contoured until the bike looked like it rolled right out of the 1947 Hollister event.

He utilized twin Linkert carbs because at the time the KnuckleheadĀ® was being built, S&S
was not even a company, let alone making the famous carburetors we do. One special
treat on this sleek KN is a set of bronze floorboards cast by Indian Larry.
