Vida Motorcycle

Takuya Okubo

Takuya's build is powered by an SH93 engine mounted in a modified 1982 FXR frame, combining classic Harley-Davidson® architecture with modern performance intent. The bike rolls on RYD forged wheels, sized at 19 inches up front and 18 inches in the rear, striking a balance between aggressive stance and rideability. All sheet metal, including the fuel tank and fenderswhich are fully hand-fabricated by the builder, reinforcing its bespoke character. Power is managed through a Baker Drivetrain OD6 transmission housed in an FXR five-speed case, paired with a Belt Drives Limited primary for strength and reliability. Comfort and control come from a custom leather seat by Vida Motorcycle, a +8-inch 39mm telescopic front end, and an Öhlins S36 rear shock, while a Speed Dealer Performance swingarm adds rigidity and precise handling. Finished by 420 Kustoms, the bike is equipped with carefully selected performance components, including an S&S Super E carburetor, Kraus triple tree, handlebars, and risers, a FAB28 exhaust, and Brembo brake calipers. Completing the build, Silversmith Fin of Kobe, Japan, adds intricate engraving to the engine, elevating it to functional art. The result is a long-fork chopper that doesn’t sacrifice capability- classic silhouette, modern control, and serious performance riding baked in.
