This big bore cylinder and piston kit contains S&S 4-1/8" bore cylinders and forged 10cc dished dome pistons, rings, wrist pins, head and base gaskets. The cylinders are machined with the stock bolt pattern and are intended for use in stock crankcases of 2007-'17 big twin except 2017 touring engines. The stock 4-3/8" stroke and 4-1/8" bore result in a 117' displacement. Cylinder finish is a durable wrinkle black powder coat. This cylinder kit may be used with stock or S&S cylinder heads with stock bolt pattern. For best performance, appropriate camshafts, performance air cleaner, performance exhaust and fuel system tuning are required. Although not mandatory, we recommend adding an oil cooler to bikes ridden in warmer climates
**Crankcases must be bored to accept the larger 4-1/8" bore cylinders.
**When using Harley Twin Cooled heads, part number 900-0609 will have to be used.
The 117" cylinder kit will reduce the engine height ~.060", this may require the stock manifold be shortened by sanding some material off each side of the intake runner.
Cylinder w/ piston kits included in this Hot Set Up Kit are pre-fit and ready to install.
Stock crankcases must be bored to accommodate the larger 41/8" bore cylinders. S&S can provide this service for you!

S&S recommends retrofitting a Timken bearing (31-4013) into 2003-'16 model crankcases with the use of a Timken sleeve, Screamin' Eagle #34822-08 or Jim's #956. A charging system spacer for 1999-'02 model year is also required. S&S can provide this service for you.
