I just put the transmission, engine, clutch, wheels, and chains on my 42 .
Guess what I forgot?
The inner primary cover.
Has anyone cut the inner primary to slip on rather than take the whole thing apart.
Will it have any ill effects since it's already somewhat open back there?
Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying putting this together but I am so close to applying power.
Opinions please.
I already know I'm a dumb ass so you can leave that opinion out.

Don't beat yorself up over it, we have all been there and done that. I think you already know what you need to do. So roll up your sleeves and get on it. At this point all you should need to remove is the clutch hub and thats no big deal.

Yea your right.
I did the same thing with my throttle and coil controls. I had to remove them both to trim.
I haven't taken any shortcuts this far.
