Geoffroy, Dou you have dual exhaust on your machine? I always wondered what a 45" motor would sound like with two mellow tone mufflers. All I have seen as dual exhaust was drag pipes, and unless it's a hotrod motor, they don't sound good to me. Nice looking motorcycle.

I know someone who tried that a fair while ago. Twin exhausts with an elbow back over the gearbox, like a panhead. Sounded nice but lots of heat problems.

Here is my 42WLA when I got it, in about 1972, still in Royal Australian Air Force MP colors.


And a year later, on my 16th birthday, on my way to take my drivers license test 1n 1973. Cops freaked about the hand change and basically wrote out my license while I rode up the street, turned around and came back.




Here we are more recently.
