Re: 45 Parts Depot ?
Our web host was hit by a Trojan which destroyed the server and basically everything on it. Our site is intact and secure, but the damage done to the server was so extensive and costly the host has decided to move everyone to a new hosting company. The transfer is taking place as I'm typing this and if all goes well we should be back up this weekend.

Kurt, any update on when you expect your website to be back up?
I'm waiting to submit an order.
Thanks.

Re: 45 Parts Depot ?
Hey all,
The damage to the site was more extensive than we thought, so we're having to build a new site and start over. Unfortunately, the time frame to do so will probably take several months to have it built and launched. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused my friends and clients, but please know we are working as fast as we can to get back up and running. I'll keep each of the forums updated as we come closer to a launch date.

Re: 45 Parts Depot ?
Hey all!!
Just an update.
As stated above, we're building a new site because of the damage to the operating system on the other was pretty extensive. It'll be at least a couple months before we can launch the new site. We're focused on the middle of Sept if all goes well. I have an incredibly talented web designer helping me who's not only a customer of mine, but a member here who asked if he could help me. More on him later.
Anyway, that's all I have at the moment. The wait will be worth it. Tons of new feature's and now we won't be limited to just 45's.

Dave,
Unfortunately not at the moment, because our entire operation was based on the web site program, but if you need any Colony items you can visit our eBay store "colony_usa"

Hang in there.
Re: 45 Parts Depot ?
Mark,
I had read your previous post and felt I should explain further.
My site was backed up every few days and transferred to an offsite location as you suggested, but this Trojan was something new according to the developers. The Trojan remained dormant and undetected with the security they were using....which was up to date.....and had been there for several weeks when the timer finally went off on May 22. Because it remained dormant, all backup's were infected. We tried everything to get it back on-line to no avail. It was something they never seen before and was especially devastating to my site because it's 100% custom scripted.....not a packaged e-commerce store like the others on the server which were back up within a week. It was basically the same as when your PC operating system crashes and it needs to be reinstalled......I didn't have a usable backup because of the way the Trojan was configured it ruined those.
Thanks for all the e-mails and support. I have a team working on the new site now and hope to be back soon......I can't wait to show everyone what we have......it'll be different than anything you've seen from me yet.
Frans-6.....I'll have the ability to do almost anything with this new site, that will be something I add after I get the parts in.
Take care all,
Kurt
