Help- what model is this bike?

Long time no post but I do lurk a lot.
Been asked to ident the bike in this photo -

(Because I ride a 45 people think I know something about old Harleys!)

early 30s 45" flathead. Key points are forged forks, short timing cover, and tanks.

Right side drive chain and front exhaust outside curved single downtube mean 45"

bacon-slicer front plate is not a British format number, so "somewhere in Europe"
Shoot, a man could have a good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff...

hi mark, its a dl model 1929-31 note straight front down tube on frame, because it used the single frame and had a upright genny next to front cylinder. cheers jib

that's the one they called the "three cylinder Harley", isn't it?

I'd forgotten that the first 45s used the single-cylinder frame
Shoot, a man could have a good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff...
