I have a set of indian scout cam blanks (completely round) both are one-piece with their respective gear.

Does anyone have a source to grind them? Jim Mosher does lobes, but no means to handle blanks still affixed to gears.

I would think they need machined before ground, then hardened, then finish ground. Pa

That may well be the case Pa. My machining knowledge is limited.

I do know that I have cams (blanks) and gears that have approximately 1" lift, 360 degree duration...
I am thinking if used in their current state performance may suffer just a tad if both valves are held open infinitely.

I had some cams for my KHK done by Weber many years ago. The quality was great and the motor liked them.

It won't be cheap , but I would imagine they have grinds for the Indian and Lightning in their files.
They won't be listed on the'll have to call them. Might be worth your time and dime. ... earch.html
