Scout Drive Housing I.D. Wear Limits

I remember a discussion on another forum years ago relating to bearing roller size, and the steps of measuring the shaft & housing , and using machinist's handbook to calculate the o/s bearing size... I am not a machinist,
but I do have a nos scout drive shaft (.875) and the housing which according to sources was 1.375 I.D. new.

Based on that, what is the theoretical maximum I.D. allowable on the drive housing before oversize rollers are no longer an option?

The largest rollers available are .252.
.252 X 2 = .504.
.875(shaft) + .504(rollers) + .001(clearance) = 1.380.

I found the reference cited, where it gave difference between shaft & housing I.D.minus clearance divided by two for roller size.

Thought about it as an algebra problem on my commute home after work. Now it is just a matter of seeing where housing cleans up.
