1939ul vin#

I was wondering about the vin# on a 39'ul. would the 9's or 6's have straight backs or curved? i know on my 39el it has a straight backs. Thanks, JD

JD,

Did you try looking here?

Lots of VIN photos to check.

Hope this helps.

The numbers should look the same style as your EL. The factory used the same fonts on all models in the same years. the only possible exceptions were some of the race bikes. And there were no EL or UL race bikes!

Thanks guys. I thought they were straight. Just checking. Looking at a 39ul and numbers looked funny to me. Aloha, JD

Is it possible it could be a legit factory or dealer stamped replacement case?
