so you wouldnt recomend putting it on a shovelhead then,even if there were two of them?

Jib!

If it is an M-741-A, (with the "A" stamped to the right of the number pad),
It has a larger venturi: 13/16" if memory serves.

Wow, this time my browser shows the pics!
(Sometimes all I get is the crushed rock wallpaper...)

And I misstyped this morning, the larger venturi is found in the M741-1 (not "A")
And that's what you've got!

But now I can also see that although the body appears to have its original silver lacquer,
the bowl is a Schebler DLX.
And so is the bowlnut.
