Looks to me like a parts on hand design. Typical of the hill folks around my neck of the woods. Amazing what they can come up with using a torch and welder.

yes, but you can stretch the B33 to around 575cc using M21 flywheels, and there is a racing M20 around the vintage scene stretched to 720cc

An old member of the board, HOOTER (hasn't been active in quite a while), was thinking of putting BSA B40 jugs and heads on a 45 crankcase.

that would be ok for bore and stroke, more or less, but how you would line up the tappets and pushrods, I can't imagine.The B40 has a single cam like an ohv Big Twin, and the pushrod tunnel is cast into the barrel to match.
