cv carb modifications

Anybody have any specifications to share in modifing the slide of a cv carb.I looking for specs as they apply to cutting a 45 degree angle on the bottom of the cv slide,such as how much,how far up or down dimensionally,lightening from the standard weight of about 85 grams to maybe 33 grams,etv.Any comments and experience would be appreciated.Thanks

Don't burn thru the edge, not very thick there.. I'd just blend it & polish everything...Lots of things can be done..
