Re: The WLK is alive!
yes, yes, it sounds a bit tame, idling like this. In real life it feels like very loud massive pulses though. ...The carb is not in tune yet. Right now it stalls when I take it off choke, so the low speed circuit is not working ok. I've combined parts from several 38mm mikuni's together with the parts advised for these in "Mikuni Tuning Harley-Davidsons" from Victory Library, together with different jet sizes for some experimentation. Maybe some channel is blocked. For now I'm very happy because all the main parts seem to work together. As soon as the gas intake is ok, I'll let it scream in the next youtube flick.

Re: The WLK is alive!
Sounds good, you took the shorter pipes off. By the way neither of them sounds fruity to me, how long were the first set about 16 inches? Hope you take the ribbing in the good spirit it was sent, no offense meant:)

Is that like fruity?
Re: The WLK is alive!
This time I'll let the soundtrack speak for itself and keep the way I would describe it to myself, Ha! Not that I cannot stand some ribbing
.

That was nice, Piet Jan.
