Hardtail Frame

I am going to look at a hardtail frame for a Sportster, the one for sale had a 98 Sportster motor in it. Will a 73 Sportster fit, with or without modifications?

Anything will fit if you throw enough money at it. The '73 engine will not bolt into the '98 frame.

Re: Hardtail Frame

Your right about that Chris, the owner wants it on the cheap tho:) I appreciate your advice panic, I already told him it would be worth more with original title and frame, thanks for the sound advice.
