Eating condensers

Points don't last long.
Bike already running like crap.
Going to disconnect everything from the rea rof the coil and run a jumper right to the battery.
Maybe there's a short in there....
What a freakin' pain!

Is the timer top half loose on the bottom half? Do you have a good ground connection between the two? If the breaker base retainer is loose you may be losing ground. Is this a new rebuild or just start happening on a machine that ran fine? You could try your pan base on it to see if it is in your Knuckle set up, seen them insulator pins cause lots of problems.
