Mileage for Oil Change after cylinder being re-bored?

Hello,

First let me introduce myself. My name is Philippe, I leave in the Paris (France) suburb.
I have both a 1971 FLH1200 and a 1943 WLA .

My question concerns my 1200 Shovel FLH.
Had both Cylinder rebored and changed both pistons.
Did a first oil change after 500 miles
A second oil change 700 after.

My question is the following: After cylinder being re-bored and new piston installed, what is the frequency/Mileage for oil change ?

Sorry I can't answer your question Philippe. I do wish to know if your WLC has a tandem seat ? I have spent many emails with a Frenchman by the name of Philippe, chatting about tandem seats. We even traded tandem seat parts. Would you be this same Philippe ? Pa

Hello Pa. Sorry but indeed this is another Philippe that you did talk to a while back. My WLA has the standard 'Solo' seat.
Do not think I ever saw a tanden seat installed in a WL in France.

Thank you Philippe. Now I know of two Philippe from France. Yes...there is a wl in France with a tandem seat. Maybe this tandem seat wl is one only ?

Not to mention that the Phillipe's Restaurant in Los Angeles is where the French Dip Sandwich was originated. I think I will ride over there this afternoon.
