Travel distance with a full tank = 404 miles San Francisco to Los Angeles

Can't beat the gas mileage, it even has heat and air for you guy's with perpetual winter.

I can't help wondering if the licence plate is a comment on its handling!

It does indeed look like a modern take on the Messerschmitt 3-wheeler of the 1950's ;



Bit before my time so I never had a crack at one,but they were allegedly quite fast and a hoot to drive.

I had a mate who owned a messerschmidt when I was a student - it was quite quick by the standards of such things ( about 65mph flat out ) and the direct steering made it feel about like a go-kart to drive, very quick and responsive. He did the old ACU National Rally in it, 600 miles in 24 hours, ha ha.

come to that, I had a car called a Barclay or Berkely about the same time, students drive anything which is cheap and there were quite a few assorted bubblecars around in the early 70s, lke the BSAs and Matchlesses you found propping up garden fences wherever you looked. It had a British Anzani or Villiers 2-stroke engine and looked generally like a three-quarter-size copy of a frog-eye Sprite. The windscreen was so low you looked over it ( I always wore goggles ) and the soft-top was about the same visibility as a 2-slot letter box, not that I ever put the top up on mine because it was so tatty

I read the license plate and see nothing but "wobley one"

Well GM has the PUMA, which is hard to believe anyone would even get in it.. I'll try to gleep a pic of it.
