Loss of oil pressure, never ending topic

Hello out there!
After change from iron oil pump to high volume Sifton, I've got a lot of pressure, and I got rid of the red light on idling. :D
But, I have still less than the spec.
Last season I change from hydraulic lifters to solid. Should I turn the lifter 180 degrees, to prevent the oil to get into the slot in the lifters?
Have an idea :idea: about lot of oil loss directly into the timing chest..... The engine was 100% rebuilt 50 miles ago.

i've seen the tops of cases broken out from running the tappets backwards
i wouldn't do that

are the tappets withing clearance specs on the guide blocks?
was the pinion bushing changed and line honed to proper specs?
are the valve rocker shafts within specs?
the list should and could go on and on
100% rebuild by one person is a piss poor job in another persons eyes
