Chief trans bearing.

Chief 7207B clutch side bearing.Which way does this angular contact bearing go in? It has a brass retainer ring holding the balls.The trust side of the bearing's outer race has a wide rim.Is this in or out? Thanks,A.J.

The thrust side goes toward the primary (the widest gap between the inner and outer race will be to the inside of the transmission)
