I read an article about Fred the other day,even though he lost a leg @ BONNEVILLE in a streamliner,he still rode a motorcycle. I would like to see a pic of him kickstarting a bike with one leg with no prosthesis!,as the article described. BREWSKI

PA,when I worked at CARLTON radial drill,a friend of my had a chopped shovel,painted yellow. He could start it,sitting on the bike when it was warm with one hand!. I had forgotten about that!. The article I was reading was in the current issue of "STREET RODDER'S JOURNAL" BREWSKI

It can be done Tom but you sure are screwed, or should I say, "screwed up", if the darn thing kicks back at ya.

I have never seen it done in the seat sitting position Brewski. That is a pretty good feat. It sounds like a good way to punch yourself out if all doesn't go well. My buddies all do it kneeling facing the rear. Most of them do it to show off but a few do it because they have to. None of them have broken an arm or thrown a shoulder out of place yet. YET !!! Pa

YEA PA, the old "ELECTRIC BANANA",I haven't thought about that in years,JAKE used to sit on it and just push the kicker thru with his right hand,the damn thing would fire faster than he could take his hand off(at the bottom of the downstroke),wish I had a pic of that now. BREWSKI
