Hey guys,I'm still in search of a set of good U-UL cases.
A few of you emailed me back but I lost your email address...sorry.I'm kind of computer iliterate.
I have a question about the 88 stroker fly wheels.Are they ok to use in the stock cases?and what type of pistons would I use.
If I build an engine with 88 stroker wheels,larger valves,carb,cams and flow work.What can I expect for HP..ball park figure.I do want a streetable engine,is this possible.Thanks for the help guys

KH61, the flywheels in a U type engine have a smaller diameter than a F type, brain's not working or I'd give you the dimentions.

machine the od of the wheels down and your set
S&S probly makes a set or would turn them down for ya

S&S 4 5/8 stroker wheels are the right diameter for U cases. It has been my experience that you don't need to go that big with U series motors to go plenty qwik and fast. Bigger is not always better. Stock stroke makes torque numbers like a Shovel motor on the dyno. I would concentrate on cams,carburation,exhaust, ignition and gearing. Just my 2 cents. Big motors require more maintainence and more money. Cubic inches=big dollars. If you gots the money and the time, they are way more fun than most people need. Just be prepared to spend the money and the time. Geezer
