$4,ooo?????? Why? If a bike would be built around that case half would the winner proudly proclaim it as a 1936 dealer demonstrator? The antique business is wacky!

At that rate he is going to have $100,000 in that bike. He's got to remember that what he has is a documented left case, not a documented bike.

I paid 1/3 of that for my complete 1936 minus a rear wheel and brake. The guy I got it from gave $50 for it.

I'm not envious, but to each his own.

You have got to be kidding! $4000.00 for a case and it sold. And I can't get $900.00 for an NOS WLC springer that needs a little cleaning up and paint.

Go figure.

It's on there now, been on there a week. But I think I screwed up. I didn't use the ultra rare, when was the last time you saw one of these, an old guy told me it would fit your bike, I am selling this for a friend and I didn't put any reserve on it. What a meat head! I know, I will take it apart, extend it using ford radius rods and chrome it. Then it will sell.

sold 36 el 1062 almost complete motor for just over 5k 2 years ago and thought it was wierd that someone would offer to pay that much for it. guess i could have made a real whore out of myself on gee bay.
