Looks like Pan or Shovel so it might be a
Pan case.

If you look close that whole deal may be a bag of tricks.

Knuckle heads on Pan cylinders, electric start generator cases (STD?), tranny shaft would need to be for 65-69 to work with the engine, cam/tappet block combo all wrong. Definite buyer beware. Pretty on the outside. Inside?????

What really gets me is, what in the world makes it a 47? Or how he got it started?

Left case looks like an old time Cal Products Bonneville case and the right is a late 52 and up pan. These Cal Products cases had a problem with the main bearing insert coming loose.

If the parts are not junk, the only problem I see is how to return oil from the heads. Either gravity or pan case needs to be modified. Jerry

Jerry, do you know if the present day Cal Case left cases have any bearing race issues?
I have an extra cam side and would like to use it.

It looks like the guys here pointed out everything that I noticed wrong with that so called 47 knuckle on eBay. If you look at the seller's feedback you'll see that he has misrepresented some of his items before. Glad you got your bid retracted! It's buyer beware with eBay for sure.

It's got 4 retractions so far. 1qazaq1, you might want to think about what your bidding on. If you don't retract you might have to live with the thing.

Boogiemanz1 I have no experience with new Cal products stuff. Years ago it was them or House of Horsepower. Today, I would use S&S but they might not sell lone case halves.

Well, the score is 6 to 6, bidders versus retractors on that thing. 20 hrs left to find who the loser is.
Also, bids cannot be retracted during the last 12 hrs

The pressure may have gotten to him, the so called 47 knuckle was pulled out of the auction by the seller "....because the item is no longer available for sale." Uh huh....BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

That thing really looked like a pile of parts that someone assembled and slapped a paint job on. It may have been a diamond, but it looked like a goats ass to me. (ps, if he had painted it red it would have sold)
