Transmission Overhaul Shop Needed
Hey Guys,
Looking to have a long dormant 1946 HD 4-speed gone through completely and brought up to spec ... Looks like it has been in the barn for many years ... Any recommendations for individuals or shops here in the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, or southern Wisconsin would be better)? Assuming nothing's really broken, any rough ideas what a GOOD rebuild should cost me, at least in terms of labor? The last time I priced one out it was $40 at Detroit H-D, but that was about 1969 ...
