Am looking for some parts to complete the legshields for my 42WLA. I mean the curved metal 'bracket' that presses the leather flaps to the footboards. There's one on each side. They are mounted vertically with one screw to the shields themselves. Could somebody give me the exact size of these: thickness, width, length, size and location of hole? Or even better has a spare set of two. (These parts are not in the spare parts list, but can be seen on all pictures I've seen of original bikes).
Thanks,
PJ

Try David Sarafan web page www.tiac.net/users/dsinc will get you to them. Ph# 603-332-4280. I have used him a couple times and have nothing but the best to report. They're all pirates! He does have all the WLA stuff.

Thanks, I tried them but they offered only a complete set for US$ 145,-. Since I already have the whole lot except for the metal strips described that is too much. I would then prefer to make my own. So the question on the size still stands.
Cheers,
Piet Jan
