46 carb

have 46 with m-41L bruce book says its suppose to be m-51. cant figure out why someone would take off oringinal one. thanks

Ed, I'd have to look it up, but I think the M-41L has 1/16" larger venturi than the M-51. As I recall, the "L" was used on the early big twin SV [VL]. It would be a mild performance upgrade to the M-51. Conan, Panic you guys are the Harley carb experts, what do you say. 'dog

The M41L was for 80" V's, just as the M51L was for 80" U's.
