I did not want to start a topic on my 42WLA build unless there was considerable interest in it. Is there any interest in it ?

Well we have gotten just shy of a half dozen interests so far Dusty. I am looking forward to the Bonneville build post. Hope we get some more interest.

I am always interested in any real-life build, done by real people who aren't T.V. stars, and not on T.V. with some silly two week deadline to meet, which you know didn't really happen, creating bikes that you really wouldn't want to ride. !!! Also my first Harley was a 45, so I'm certainly interested in them and would love to see well documented build. I would sure follow it.

ken.

Just because you don't get comments does not mean there is no interest. I am interested, but only commented because of the above quote. Looking forward to reading about both builds...

I'll do mine then. I asked because I started my build thread on another forum way back and interest was initially great but picture posting ended up not suiting the followers. They, I assume, did not like the forum software usage since they had to click each image to enlarge them. I will attempt to URL the images in my build topic here.

Ok Paul, I've got my coffee ready so let's get this thing on the road. Do have any before pictures of what you started with?

Coffee will get a bit cold before I get the topic going Steve. Might be a week for the post to get put up. I've got plenty of pics surrounding the build and I want to lay it out right for the membership. I am going to do the topic in chronological order, starting from parts collected, through component repairs, to present day condition.

Paul,

I'm interested too..

I wish that when I build the WLA that I rescued from Russia, that I had a better camera to take photos of her during the repair and build.
