Inner bottom spring???????????

I'm putting together the front end and wondering if all WLA solos had the inner bottom springs installed.???? I have been looking at pictures all over and there seems to be a mix.

They did from the factory. What happened in later life is anyone's guess. And as far as pictures go, only original shots from the time are anywhere near valid for restoration use. Pictures of restored bikes basically are for entertainment. Not for emulation.

From memory, if I can recall correctly, those were considered anti-rattle springs. My springer has them.

I'm trying my best to restore. The SNL G-523 calls for them but since there is a mistake where it calls for only one cone I thought there might be some option
I'll find some lower inner springs and install.
