maniforl leak on harley flathead 45

Hi, Carb running rich , did a pressure test on cylinder intake and found it to be leaking. What is the best way to fix problem. Replaced brass bushings and still have the same results. Thanks

If you're it's the bushings that are the problem,and not the nipples,clean up the manifold ends and use peak seals.
Did you slacken the cylinder base nuts to be sure the bushings are seating square?

Cleaning the ends of the manifold hasn't a lot of bearing as there is no seal effected there. Perhaps he meant the ends of the nipples which can be flattened and minor nicks removed by using using self stick sandpaper on a piece of flat glass.
If the manifold has any defects, has been previously machined or is out of round there are techs out there that can remachine it and make custom fit peek seals. "He" meant the same part of the manifold as you did,re defects.
