piston weight wl

hi does anyone have access to a unused genuine standard size wl pston please ,mid 40's . as i would like to compare the weight differance with the k model pistons im going to use and if alot different , modify the pistons to get the weight the same. the engine bottom end is together and good so i dont want to split it to rebalance the crank. regards jib

I just weighed a .020 OS WL piston of the later type with thin rings and it is 380.7 grams. An NOS K piston in .'070 OS weighed 376 even. i have some NOS std Mil Surplus 45 pistons but don't want to open them until I need them. I'll try to look later and see if I have one with the cosmolene off of it!
