Folks,
Extreme caution must be applied to burnisher use upon certain pumps.
I have encountered one so hard that it tore up the ball!
Even a cutter would not touch the "chilled" casting, so it had to be ground of the damage, before lapping, and then a final burnish.
I now suggest 60 degree tools instead of a ball.
And I now discourage any application of burnishers upon installed pumps (OHVs).
Liberty is too far in the hole from the previous productions to consider producing any more.
