"Quick-throttle" on a WL

here is a pic of the modification :



this is a panhead part .
remove the wire in the throttle side of the handlebar and replace it by a thin throttle-cable
add a "return" spring
super-clean all the internal comps of the handlebar spiral and replace the ol'grease by oil

i know : this is a "basic" upgrade ( and it always make me laugh )
but the owner is a newbie and the original WL throttle system gives him nightmares .....

I had a return spring like that on a panhead, although the twist-grip didn't actually return it did make the action smoother

justremove the wire and replace it by a carb-cable ( thin ) and it will work !

There are probably other names as well.
Mechanisms to reverse the direction of the throttle action were sometimes called a "turn-around".

People still make up names, and that is part of the fun!
