I have removed and replaced the Timken race in a number of Sportsters and looking at my K case I believe that is not a replaceable part. No books list that part and it's not a bushing like the right side and my factory manual doesn't mention it as being replaceable and now I'm curious, it can't wear out, why replace it. Steve

Say what!?!? That sounds like a lot of machine work and redesign!
All of the K's I've done (uh,...two) were exactly the same as early Sport's Timkens. All of the WL's I've done (uh,....three!) had the conventional pressed in races that are readily available.
Is there really a standard Timken with the OD of the race and ID of the shaft? If so,GO for it!...Cotten

45 standard OD is 1.753
K and sportster right side OD is 1.7515
I presume the + oversize rules apply by .005"
steps so +.015 OS would be 1.753 if i did my rithmatic correctly. suppose it would depend on the actual direction of fit?

And dont mean to correct you but it would be the od of the shaft and id of the bushing

I wuz wrong, if I understand what we are trying to do here; It would be OD of the race compared to a Timken race OD,..and OD of the shaft compared to ID of a Timken 'cone'.
But 1.7515 plus .015 is 1.7665
The timkens would fall through loose by .0015, if I understand your measurements, and I don't believe they make such slight oversizes. I do have a Timken data book (from a decade ago) at the shop....Cotten

Did I misunderstand what you wanted? The Timken part number for the race is 07196D, the bearings are 07100, and the preload spacer is X1S07100. Steve
