REBEL YELL

The last time I was in Nashville, which was 9 years ago, I bought a few bottles of REBEL YELL. The only liquor store in town had just a few bottles and I bought every bottle they had. Do they still make my favorite whiskey????, I'm down to less than half a fifth!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! BREWSKI

Was partial to Old Grandad and Wild Turley years ago. Smooth as silk and hits like a sledge. Pa

That brings back memories! Well, foggy memories. A friend used to bring it back North from trips down South. Never sold it north of the Mason/Dixon line I'd always heard. One of the South's secret Treasures. Good luck on your quest.

My personal fave and recommendation...

George Dickel Tennessee 12 year old Bourbon. Unparalleled fineness.

Y'all try some, ya hear!

Go here and be enlightened.

No, and I'm afraid to ask, Curt.

I prefer Bourbon, 'neat' - straight up in a rocks glass.

Dickle ina pickle I ahve a buddy that lived in Salt Lake City for a few years. He said it was very popular out there. It consists of a shot of dickle and a shot of pickle juice. You do the shot of Dickle then the shot of pickle juice right after. It sounds terrible but it's actually pretty good.

Rebel Yell

I remember years ago a friend brought some Rebel Yell back from the south and it was a really BIG deal...there are sipping whiskeys and then there is Rebel Yell...I know, I ain't drank since 1986, but this strikes a memory....it was like drinking straight ether, absorbed by the body before it hit your gut... and, yeah I would have to agree with Billy,it would make a great parts cleaner...I understand why Brewski likes it....they must still make it...
