Coker tires?

I've heard good & bad about Coker tires. I'm running Avon MKII on my knuck, but might like to try the Diamond Tread from Coker on my next project. Any experience with these? Thanks,

i've tried'em. kinda squirrely and low mileage.

Eric, I haven't tried the diamond treads, But when I first restored my 40 ULH, I had a set of the Coker full height 5.00 by 16" jobs, and had to take them off again because of lumps in the side walls. Got stuck with them too, our buddy Ted would not take them back. I don't know what size you need, but the Avon "Safety mileage MKII" comes in 16, 18 and 19 inch sizes, and is a great alternitive. They are a full height profile tire.

Moons right, the diamond beck cokers I've run have always worn with a wierd pattern and fairly quick, but good in mud. I've had much better luck with the coker classics ( like the old goodyear tread).

Also, if you buy direct from Coker they will stand behind their tires. Coker.com
