manuals etc on cd-rom?

Pretty much anything not covered by the topics above. Short lived production bikes or vehicles, Electrical, Tires, Paint, Brakes, etc. Use this for tech questions, and "Shoot the Bull" for general conversation, no tech.

i was lookin' at all my old manuals,specs-sheets,parts books, love letters/hate mail etc, all torn & oil stained & beer stained; & got to thinkin' (seein'how we all use computers) how great it would be if ya could get this stuff on cd-roms or dvd's or whatever. i could just refer to the screen or print it out if needed! Does Victory or anyone else make manuals on cd?(more shelf space for the 90 proof too!!)

You just gave me a hell of an idea.A friend of mine that works at a harley dealership was telling me about how he has been printing up all these tech tips that ,just as you had said only harley people have access to on the internet, and getting a pretty good sized book going .I think I'll have to talk to him about storing them on floppies so I can put them on my computer. The only problem is it will probably only have evo crap. I'll have to ck it out.

If I had all the data I could burn yas a CD, as I am set up to do so. I back up stuff on CD ( like mp3s and the like),though with 20+ gigs of hd space room is no bother. Floppys don't hold much especially when it comes to illustrations.
