My 45 project has a Shovelhead front brake. I'd quite like to have a "period" type lever blade - does anyone up know if the drum-brake lever fits the Shovelhead master cylinder?
Shoot, a man could have a good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff...

They are completely different. Why worry about the hand lever sticking out of the big master cylinder? There is a company making handlebars with the master cylinder hidden inside the bars.

If I was going to hide the master cylinder I'd find one if those cable-actuated ones BMW fitted at one time.
