LED REAR LIGHTS
OK, I fitted a couple of rear LED signal lights to my 41 UL (from W&W part number 11-270) to enhance rear visibility when on the highway, already converted to 12v generator. I basically used a connector block to use the existing bikes wiring (running to rear fender, 2 wires, side and brake lights) and I ran an extra earth to the tombstone rear mounting bracket stud (having checked continuity between neg terminal on frame and stud) ran the 2 wires from the original tombstone light and joined them with the new wiring from the LED's (side and brake lights) and connected the earth from the LED's to the new earth created to the backing plate stud.
Tombstone lights work perfect, LED brake light works perfect, LED side lights don't work, even tho the tombstone side light works, and the're all wired to the same feed. Any suggestions why the LED side lights don't work.
