early springer,rl,dl....single??

hello again,i have what i thought were 2 identical rear springer forks,I beam type from early 45`s,recently i started putting them together to make 2 complete forks when i realized the one has the standard spring rod bushings holes, same as the later springers...but the other has completely different holes that seem to fit a bushing that screws in... and the hole where the actuual spring rod fits through is narrower...any ideas what this came off.....does someone supply these different bushings....any information would be greatly appreciated....thank you

Me again,no one seems to know what year this fork is off.....another difference i noticed is that the whole rear fork seems to be quite a bit chunkier aswell......very obvious to the eye when next to each other........dont know if this helps...the front fork off of this is interesting also....,where the tubes connect to the the cast part either side has an overlapping metal sleave finishing at an angle, about 2.5 inches over all.....nice design.....any ideas.....

Some of the '29 JDH models had an I-beam rear leg. As Pa said, post some pictures.

I think DL's had screw in bushings, and RL's had plain.

I have Johnny Sell's book at home. I'll look it up and let you know for sure.

Does it look like this one? Notice the reinforcements where the spring fork tubes plug into the casting.
