Great aspirator!
Bet it empties that box long before the carb is done.
The tubing could be gently heated and stretched and snipped for a venturi nozzle.

The rub with soda is that it is expensive unless you recycle it in a cabinet, and but then it makes visibility nil.

When you dump a heaping spoon full of baking soda into a glass of warm water, stir well, let settle, what is the crap lying in the bottom of the glass ?

It's the over saturated solution precipitating out the excess soda. If you add enough water, you will eventually put all the soda into suspension. Probably warm water helps make the soda go into solution also. But I sure like the results. The carbs look great. Thanks for passing it on Dusty.

When sodium bicarbonate dissolves in water, it releases carbonic acid and hydroxide ions.
If your water is "hard", then calcium, potassium, etc., can combine with these ions to produce salts that are not terribly soluble, so they precipitate out.

Distilled or de-ionized water should produce no precipitates until the point of saturation.
