Harley-Davidson listed in their accessory catalogs, starting in '33, Linkert carburetors in a brand new style. they sold them for all their own models but also in the designations; M6 for 74" Indian, M7 For 45" indian, and M8 for indian 4. $12.50 each.

They are often called "Beck" carbs after the predominate distributor of the times.
I have evidence that these were re-stamps of Indian proprietory models by the L&L factory.
Unfortunately, they are not AMCA 'correct" for anything.
