I am looking at carb problems as I am installing WLA flywheels into my cases, and doing the now pretty standard stroker conversion that a lot have done.
Naturally carburation is going to need a look, and with the Linkert fitted to the 741, it has a pretty wheezy little venturi etc.
Does anyone know if much can be done to these M741 carbs to allow the beast to breath better? (i.e. Is it an easy job to take them out to something more akin to an M341 Linkert).
Or am I better off chucking it and replacing it with something like a M341, in which case is things like the bowl etc interchangeable? Obviously needles etc will not be, but naturally I will getting new ones anyways.
