Not being an Indian expert by no means, I have reservations on a bike with such low milage, especially after 3 owners. Another problem I have with the discriptions, unless I read it wrong, is the Indian battery being original and yet the bike is started regularly on a battery that old. Pa

Look at the exhaust pipes!,it's hard to believe they turned that much with so little miles. STROKER

the pipes turn golden/blue very fast if the ignition timing is slightly too retarded..
At least the repro pipes does.

The bike looks nice.. almost too nice for the "story" to be true..but who knows.
Looks like it doesn't have rubber covers over the ignition cables at the distributor, didn't they have that when new ?

just took a ironic and careful approach to way it was presented as "Original".. but I feel that the pipe color may not be a good indicator on the distance ridden. The "term" original seems to have different meanings.. even with 70% repro parts, some may call it original.

good thing they don't use the "old skool" term though.. :)

Amazing how much a "story" can do for the bidding frenzy.

What's the difference between this bike, and a restored one with 1450 miles?

Both would have been repainted.....both would have parts rechromed......both would have rubber parts etc replaced??????

I guess the tires and the battery are worth about 10 grand.

Come to think of it.......I wonder why brake pedal, footboard, and grip rubber would go bad a need replacing, and not the tires???.....hmmmm.

yes, it's amazing what flashy paint and chrome and a "story" does.. I wonder how good the engine is? The engine and drivetrain is where the major cost and the quality of the bike hides..
But then again, lots of these bikes are hardly ridden...just bought as an investment or as something to show off to the friends and neighbours.

I wouldn't ride on those old tires anyway... and yes, the story sounds a bit fishy (?)..
Probably lots of alternative bikes out there.. better to repaint and put the money into the drivetrain istead of paying extra for a "unverified story".
