Indian chief flywheel thrust wahers

How much side play is there on a stock crankpin & rods? How much can be taken up by oversized thrustwashers? The tapers on the flyweels are ok but the thrustwasher area has seen some wear.

The connecting rod side play is .010 to .020

There are thrust washers available at .047, .057, .062, .072

You definatly do not want the side play too tight, and your objective with all the thrust washers is to center the rods in the cases as well as set end plays..

Have fun...jb
