You can get a rough gauge of it's worth looking at Walneck's or try www.nadaguides.com
I remember seeing a restored twin going for $3000 a few years back. Your brother-in-laws price seems steep to me.

Jerry Hatfield's Indian Buyer's Guide gives them a 2 1/2 star rating with the 52 Warrior a 3 star rating.

I like to do the game show thing .....( I'm not shitting you but this is how I rationalize things.Even if it is a car deal or bike deal) now I'm giving you guys my secret info rather than soaking up all your tech info. I guess it's time to give back to the board that keeps giving...
