6volt vs 12volt system on 47 indian chief

can someone give me the pros and cons about which system would be better for daily riding

If you need to count on it 12V. with an altertnator is the way to go. Brighter lights (don't tell me about the high watt 6V. the generator won't keep up)hotter spark easily aviable replacements (find a 6V. headlight bulb at 2:00 AM in a small town)an alternator that is a few years old and aviable rebuilt at any auto parts instead of a generator that is a minum of 50 years old and wasn't very reliable when new. Ect-Ect-Ect
