Tuning

Does anybody out there has a tuning instruction for the 344 Linkert. My new Chief has difficulties to respond to throttle at very low speed and it literally stops accelerating at about 65mph. I was thinking about a base setting like I know for my Harley Linkerts just to get a reasonable start.

Although some Indian literature cites intentionally retarding the spark, (which I do not endorse),
The basic procedures are the same.

Your HS needle should start at a turn and a half, and three and a half to four turns out on the LS needle.
Normally they both would trim inward to tune.

You bubble-tested the manifold, of course?
