Victory 80 manual

I was looking at the Victory 80 manual for HD's, and was wondering if any of the tech on porting relieving squish etc is applicable to chiefs? I know the cams and ignition are way different, but just to get an idea of tuning an 80. I didnt see anywhere to do an intro, but Im just here to learn and ask few questions after this initial one.
