Clutch Adjustment

I have a new (V-Twin), I know, clutch pack with about 600 miles on it

I have taken out what I can at the rod and with the adjuster screw. I seem to have gone about as far as I can go but yet it still engages about 2" inches up from the running board.

Any suggestions on how I can get more adjustment out of it?

Its the lenghh of the rod. I went through the same problem.
These aftermarket rods all seem to be differents lengths, depending on the maker.
I would try another rod... Good luck !
